Why to save battery: The batteries life is calculated in charging cycles, so if you charge more often then It’ll degrade very soon. So charge less and use it for long duration
Energy is what it takes to perform any task. So our phone needs that energy too. It consumes it from the battery that is attached to it and we often charge it 2-3 times a day.
Earlier a 1000 mAh battery would last for 2-3 days, but now a 4000 mAh battery lasts only 6-7 hours at max if we are using it continuously. Why this much difference? What are we doing wrong or the phone doing wrong to consume so much amount of energy? Lets save some energy 🙂

Display: New generation smartphones are have huge display. Huge display = More light to emit. The more the brightness you increase in your phone, the more it’ll consume energy. If indoors, keep that to auto or minimum. If this practice is for daily use then it’ll definitely save your battery. If you have OLED screens then dark mode will definitely help you save some battery. Though for normal screens this won’t affect much but is better for eyes.

Internet: Data was premium content just few years in the past. But now after JIO and Low cost broadband, its not a big thing. So often, if we don’t even expect anyone’s message or not using out phones, out data is active. And its much worse for broadband users. Their sim data and and WiFi is mostly on. For what are we keeping ourselves always online? If we miss something, we can contact them back as soon as we see our phone. Staying available on call, sms, social network is not necessary all the time. So keep the the data off, and enable when you need. If someone has to say something important , they’ll call or text instead.

Some Settings: So why do you want your location always on? and what about Bluetooth? Both of these eat up energy to stay active and we should always use these when we are using it. Similarly always set battery optimization on if you have that feature. Disable notifications from all the applications that you don’t use often. For example, Amazon offers, Flipkart offers, Paytm, and more. Uninstall all unnecessary application. Do not allow background data for applications that you think are not useful when you do not open it.

Dark Mode: Keep wallpapers dark, Keep phone in dark mode, Use applications in dark mode. Its fun and battery saving.

Battery Saver Mode: Battery saver mode restricts your background application activity to some extent. The background data to many applications are reduced. The all time location access is reduced. Yes the Battery saver mode works perfectly. Use it often and you can see the difference.

Use Lite Apps. : Many famous applications have the lite version of their application. They have less features but works perfectly. They weigh less to memory and energy. Hence not a lot of features to maintain. Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, PUBG, Spotify, Messenger, Linkedin, Pinterest,Skype all have the lite versions available on Play Store.
Have a long battery. Have a nice day.
